Visit websites in a secure and protected environment with support for cloud file downloading which makes it easier to share files across multiple devices. Includes Trident page-rendering engine and Webkit.
Maxthon MX5 Cloud browser lets you benefit from tons of convenient features while you surf the web. This browser has a minimalistic design, very much like other modern browsers. In fact, it is quite difficult to distinguish it from Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome if you look at its appearance only. In fact, it is so laconic in terms of interface design that some of the elements are only shown if you hover the mouse over the corresponding area. Like other browsers, it allows opening various elements in different tabs.
This browser has probably more integrated features than any other. Its most salient characteristic is that it is a dual-core browser (Trident and Webkit), which allows it to profit from the best of both engines. Luckily, it comes with various features that support synchronizing contents, history, and bookmarks among various devices. In this respect, I was particularly impressed by Maxnote, which even lets you browse the pages you have visited, even if you are offline. Maxthon MX5 Cloud Browser also comes equipped with a convenient download manager as well as a resource sniffer, so there is no problem to grab the desired contents or objects. There is also Snap, a screen-capture tool that helps you capture a specific region of the webpage. Finally, I am glad to say that it has various features intended to preserve your privacy. As to this, it is possible to enter in Incognito mode and leave no tracks of your activity. It can also block ads and autocomplete data for you.
All in all, Maxthon MX5 Cloud Browser is, undoubtedly, one of the browsers supporting most features nowadays. What is more, you can even add more functionalities as it also supports add-ons. It is a browser I strongly recommend; yet, you should be careful if you have any privacy concerns, as most of the synchronization features depend on sharing a lot of personal info.
